Growing up in San Diego the sight of a Lusardi job trailer was very common. So, when I was given the opportunity to join Lusardi for an internship I jumped at the chance. Having no construction background I was concerned about what the first few weeks would be like. After a short time I found the environment at Lusardi was unlike any I had experienced before. Everyone, from the President down to my peers was willing to take time out of their day to help me. With that help from the entire team I rapidly began to understand what had at first seemed overwhelming. As my knowlege of the construction process grew so did my responsibilities. I found that unlike other interships I was being given much more meaningful projects to work on rather than busy work. This challenging internship provided me with real work experience. After my internship was completed I was so excited about the work that I was doing that I decided to accept a fulltime position at Lusardi Construction. Lusardi continues to challenge me and surpass my expectations; I look forward to a long career here.
