Posted: Wednesday, May 22, 2013

Lusardi Construction proudly announces its latest LEED Silver certified project located in North Charleston, South Carolina.  The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) project consists of an existing four-story building that required extensive tenant improvements throughout three floors totaling 63,000 square feet. LEED Silver was achieved by incorporating many strategies. The renovation included upgrading the existing HVAC equipment, re-roofing the existing building with a better and highly reflective system, incorporating day lighting controls and low energy lighting, the use of recycled and regional materials, and installing low flow plumbing fixtures.
