Mossy Nissan Escondido Escondido, California
This existing dealership consists of three buildings and required a variety of construction functions to unleash it’s full potential; it entailed partial demolition and reconstruction, building additions, and site reconfigurations.
The main showroom, parts, and customer service building required interior demolition for a 7,200 square foot tenant improvement. The exterior finish of the building received new silver metallic panels that wrap the greater part of the building and accents of Nissan Red Aluminum Composite Panels (ACM); placed over portions of those ACM panels are raised pre-fabricated silver louvers that draw attention to the dealership’s logos.
The existing service reception drive canopy on the Northwest side of the building was expanded a total of 950 square feet and finished to match the recurring theme throughout the exterior of the building. The additional two exterior covered service areas on both the West and the East of the building were upgraded as well. Remaining are the two buildings that were also upgraded and received new roofing, painting of interior and exterior of all walls, and replacement of all facility lighting.
The project site work included some disabled access site improvements, new asphalt paving, site hardscape and landscaping. Lusardi was able to complete all this construction while the dealership remained open by phasing the project to allow for no interruptions to their operations.
