Located on prime real estate near Del Mar’s famous race track, most residents have either driven by the outdoor mall or stopped in to visit one of its many boutique retailers. The improvements to Flower Hill Promenade include a four-story, 397-space, poured- in-place, concrete parking structure along with a two- story steel structure with plaster and masonry skin. Because of the constricted site, room for construction was provided by a rear retaining wall that is 45’ at its highest point. During construction of the wall, 30,000 cubic yards of dirt were exported through an existing open shopping center.
