The Scripps Health Clinic Encinitas tenant improvement consisted of over 40,000 SF of newly constructed medical office space. The new medical office spaces included Family Medicine, OBGYN, Ophthalmology, Audiology, Optometry, Dermatology, Cardiology, and Neurology. Designed by SmithGroup, an award winning integrated architectural firm, the project team completed ahead of schedule two months from the original schedule deadline. Accelerating the schedule was a team effort by all involved, adding an additional Lusardi Superintendent to help expedite the construction.

The building did not have any freight elevator or means of access. A portion of the curtain-wall was removed and the team constructed a dance-floor scaffold and ramp into each floor to quickly load materials into the space. Clerestory windows were installed in the interior corridors to allow for more natural light to enter from the outside.
